Once a month our Club reserves a meeting to discuss Club business, projects, and upcoming activities. We call this our Club Assembly. It is more of a business meeting than our other meetings for the month where we have a formal speaker. Our Club Assembly is usually held the first Thursday of each month - but can be adjusted as appropriate. The first week of April was Spring Break for the Alpine School District so our Club Assembly was pushed to the second week of April.
President - Derek Cahoon read an article that was in the Daily Herald about the food drives we have been helping with and our club was mentioned.
Foundation Chair - Glen Hunsaker gave an update on the District Training meeting—there was a big focus on Rotary helping refugees and they worked on more kits to donate to the cause.
Glenn Smith - Chair Utah Tour de Donut gave an update on two possible routes at this point. He will be talking with the cities and organizations involved to see which one will work with us the best. Marketing packages will be available next week for getting sponsors.
FOOD DRIVE – April 25-29. The Carter’s will need help dropping off and picking up the bins. They will be dropping bins off on 4/22.
Tabitha’s Way opening in about 4 to 5 weeks.
Reservations Bound – it’s time to start collecting school and clothing supplies.
